Heart of Teesdale Landscape Partnership Launched!

The Partnership was formally launched at The Hub in Barnard Castle on 18 November 2012 with around a hundred guests in attendance.Following the award of the Heritage Lottery Fund grant of around £1.9 million, several programmes and projects have started,and the first activities took place at the beginning of December to coincide with National Tree Week.

The partnership will cover the following area, and communities in between:
Eggleston - Barnard Castle - Winston - Gainford - Barforth - Hutton Magna - Barningham - Bowes

The key themes include:
Agriculture - Conservation - Natural and Built Environment - Rivers - Wildlife - Heritage Arts - Culture - Skills - Training - Access - Community Participation - Local Distinctiveness
