The Greta Way

This project forms part of the Paths for All People project and improves the footpaths and access along both banks of the River Greta. The walk provides a link from the Meeting of the Waters in Rokeby Park (where the Greta meets the Tees) all the way up to Bowes and God’s Bridge. Two loops will be offered of varying length and on both banks, so walkers can fully discover the delights of this beautiful river.

Works were carried out to improve drainage and access along the length of the footpaths and a leaflet has been designed to promote this stunning walk. This is available in the Downloads section or available at The Witham.
