Restoration of Whorlton Village Garden

The aim of this project was to improve this area within Whorlton Village Garden by improving the boundary and providing seating. The project improved the border of the village garden with a hedge. Seating was provided and access was improved by laying bark chippings and clearing away some scrub at the entrance. The work was completed with the help of Heart of Teesdale volunteers on a very wet volunteer day!
The site is open to the community and to visitors who walk the Teesdale Way which runs adjacent to it.
This project is now complete
