A project to create twelve “viewmarkers” is now underway in Teesdale. Arts charity ARTworks in Teesdale are delivering the project for us with additional funding from Arts Council England.

Following an open call and with over 60 applicants, 2 artists Ant Macari and Victoria Brailsford have been chosen to progress the project to the next phase. Both artists are now creating designs which will go on display at The Witham Gallery in Barnard Castle at the end of this month.

The display runs from 27th June - 2nd July 2015 10am - 4pm . There will be an opportunity to meet the artists in the Gallery on the Saturday. A symposium entitled ART in the Landscape - What's your View? will take place in the afternoon on Saturday June 27th 2-4pm at The Witham.

Places are limited. To book your place please contact Artworks in Teesdale through their website: www.artworksinteesdale.org
